What age are Duckies Slip-Ons for?
Duckies are designed for babies and toddlers who are learning to walk, roughly from around 9 months up to 3 years depending on foot length and size chosen.
Ā
How should they fit?
We recommend a snug heel and enough room to wiggle toes, with about a thumb-width of space in front of the longest toe so little feet can grow.
Ā
Can my child wear them without socks?
Yes, the soft, breathable knit upper is comfortable on bare feet, and many parents use them without socks, especially in warmer weather.
Ā
Are they OK for daycare and outdoor play?
The grippy rubber sole is made for everyday use on tiles, floorboards, playgrounds, and footpaths, so they work well for daycare and trips outside.
Ā
How do I wash Duckies?
Pop them in a cold machine wash inside a laundry bag, then air dry out of direct sun ā they dry quickly and are ready for the next adventure.
Duckies shoes have been independently tested and officially endorsed by a practising paediatric podiatrist,Ā not as a paid partnershipĀ but based on their design.
They are built around the key features recommended in childrenās footwear for new walkers: flexible, lightweight soles, wide toe area, and room for little feet to move, spread, and develop naturally. Approved for new walkers and young children, Duckies focus on healthy foot development rather than stiff āsupportiveā fashion styles.
